Partly to mostly cloudy day ahead with occasional showers

A storm system is making its way towards Southern Idaho Wednesday morning. It looks like the storm will mainly impact regions just south of us in southwest Idaho, meaning we will catch the northern fringe of this storm this afternoon.

Look for partly cloudy skies followed by mostly cloudy skies this afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 40s. We may see a few showers around the valley, especially near Mountain Home.

The Western Magic Valley will see showers throughout the day today, and we will see some occasionally overnight in the Treasure Valley with mostly cloudy skies. The storm will also bring several inches of snow to the central mountains.

Conditions will likely be similar tomorrow, with partly cloudy skies and occasional isolated showers. Highs will be mid 40s on Wednesday and Thursday.

There is a chance of a rain/snow mixture impacting the valley on Friday. Highs will drop into the low 40s over the weekend as a weak high-pressure system moves over the region. This should keep conditions dry through the weekend.
